An exploration in wine.

Hello Adventurer! I’m Charlotte, nice to meet you. Here’s a quick version of the story that brought me to where I am today and ultimately to where you are, looking at the wines I currently have to offer.

I was born and raised in a bi-cultural home in the heart of Burgundy with a French father and an American mother. As you can imagine, wine was very much a part of the local culture and even if I didn’t realize it at the time I was completely submerged in it. After moving to the Oregon as a teenager, I realized how much I was interested about the wine culture that I grew up around. While learning more and more I became not only interested but passionate about this subject.

I decided to study the subject in detail and what better place than where I grew up! I moved back to Burgundy and started my wine studies in Beaune while working in a very well known winery in the Cote de Nuits.

After two years learning about all aspects of a winery (from the vineyards, to the wine making and all administrative aspects that go along with it) I decided to travel, expanding my knowledge on the subject. I went to New-Zealand, Australia and Oregon where I practiced everything I learned and picked up some new insight. Not only did my appreciation grow with each new experience but by passion as well. I wanted to share with the world what I was able to learn from it and my view on new “world traveler” wines.

In 2018, Charlotte Delelee Wines was born in Oregon! The first vintage includes Pinot Noir from Eola Amity Hill. The 2019 vintage adds Chardonnay as well as Pinot noir offering - available in 2021. We keep biodynamic practices at the forefront of our winemaking process.

So that’s about me! Feel free to order a bottle and tell us what you think :)
